Our training and consultancy is here to support you to manage health and wellbeing proactively, minimize the impact of mental ill health on your business and your people, and promote and maintain healthy workplaces.Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the initial help offered to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The MHFA course is a 12 hours’ evidence-based course which teaches members of the general public to provide first aid assistance until the crisis resolves or the individual receives professional help. While the MHFA program does not teach people to provide a diagnosis or treat mental health conditions, it has been established as an effective tool in improving mental health literacy, reducing stigma and increasing helping behaviors. MHFA program is currently being implemented in 25 countries including Bangladesh. Presently more than two million Mental Health First Aiders trained globally.
We’ll work alongside you to deliver training that complements and enhances your existing wellbeing strategy, if you have one. If you don’t, we’ll get you started on that journey and support you along the way. Each organization’s culture is unique and creating change around mental health is a complex task that requires a multi-tiered approach, which our team of experts is positioned to support.
We have training options to suit a range of timescales and budgets, from basic mental health awareness sessions to a full Mental Health First Aider qualification.
Our courses are delivered online or on-site at your workplace, by an experienced Instructor Member. our quality assured Instructors have been recruited due to their diverse business backgrounds, experience in mental health, and their ability to engage and motivate course participants.
Online course deliveries take place as a blend of live training sessions and self-learning activities.
